Krushnai Waterpark and Sentosa Waterpark - Review in My View

Hello friend, in today’s post I will share my experience with two water parks of Pune. Recently I have visited these water parks one is Krushnai Water Park situated at Donje near sinhgad fort base and another is Sentosa Water Park situated at Ravet which is on Mumbai Pune bypass road. These water parks can be visited any time but summer is the best time I feel. As I have visited both water parks I will share good and bad things of both so it will help you to take your decision if you are thinking on visiting Water Park in Pune and confused between these two.

So let’s start.

Location – Distance

If you consider Pune Swargate as starting point following is the distance.

Sentosa Waterpark -  Almost 25 Km via Mumbai Pune Bypass

Krushnai Waterpark – Almost 18 Kms via Sinhgad Road

So you can see above “Krushnai Water park” is near than Sentosa if you stay nearby Swargate and if you stay near wakad or nearby area then Sentosa Water Park is nearer.

Entry Fee and Other Charges

All above charges are for entry only.  You can visit their website to confirm the updated charges.

On both water parks Swim costumes are available on rent, for which they charge Rs.50 and for locker Rs.50.

About changing room and locker facility

Changing room of Krushnai Water Park is bigger in size as compare to Sentosa. No. of lockers too are more at Krushnai. At Krushnai, multiple showers are available to take bath after enjoying swimming so you can keep one soap and shampoo with you to clean yourself as after swimming and riding in water which has lots of chlorine taking bath is advisable.

On the other hand at Sentosa showers are available but in less numbers so if there is crowd then you may not get showers available.

Food Facility

On both water parks eatables from outside is not available.

At Krushnai, they have canteen inside at which you can eat but charges are more as compare to regular charges. But you will definitely enjoy eating while seating in nearby place of wave pool.

At Sentosa, you need to decide whether you are going to take lunch at Sentosa or not at the time of taking tickets only. Once you took tickets without lunch facility (If you take, it will adds Rs.170 per head) then you have only option of Multi Cuisine restaurant and Fast Food outlet where you can enjoy the Chinese, North Indian, South Indian food but rates are more as compare to the regular hotels. They have full day buffet facility too for groups but may need to book in advance.

Water rides and other amenities to enjoy

Now coming to the main point i.e. water rides and other amenities.

At Sentosa, there are 2-3 slides for adults and 2-3 for kids. Also has wave pool and rain dance floor. So if there are more kids with you then surely visit Sentosa as they will enjoy more there with tubes like my nephew in below pic. (so cute…)

At Krushnai, there are more slides as compare to Sentosa. So if you want to enjoy thrilling rides such as Turnpikes and Magic Sway I will recommend visiting Krushnai.

Both water parks has wave pool but Krushnai’s wave pool I found more enjoyable, they have designed it like a beach so even if there are some members in your group who don’t want to go in water they can enjoy too. Pool gets started after some intervals which are well planned than Sentosa so at anytime you visit in day you will not miss the fun of wave pool.

With rain dance floor, Sentosa has one big square floor common for all with DJ facility and at Krushnai there are 3 cubical kind of places kept one for ladies and one for gents and one in center common for all which has more cold water than other two. If too much crowd is there then getting space to dance is very difficult at krushnai’s center floor.

DJ facility is nice at Krushnai as rain dance floor and wave pool has its own DJ facility but songs are repeatable. At Sentosa common DJ but song selection is nice as compare to krushnai’s DJ.

More Thrilling rides are available at Krushnai as compare to Sentosa. But if you ride at kids pools (yellow one at start) then you may get hurt on your "tashrif " as distance from floor kept is according to kids not adults.

Security wise there are less no. of guards or security persons at Krushnai  as compare to Sentosa so sometimes people gets hurt. Take care while walking on staircase at both water park as it gets more slippery so you may get fall. First aid facility is available on both water park so do avail it if any wrong thing happens.
