Hello friends, after long break I am writing again for this blog again with this short but informative post about Google Web Light.
As an internet user, you know that Google has been continuously working hard towards loading search results faster and Google Web light is one of the outcomes of these efforts. Many countries including India are having huge population who surfs internet at 2G speed especially in rural areas and it is really frustrated experience to surf at this slow speed.
Now if you are also browsing on slow internet and on Google Chrome then Google automatically detects the slow internet and loads the transcoded version of webpage in Google Web Light due to which web page loads very fast as it optimizes the page by showing only relevant content.
Google optimizes the site transcoding it which reduces the overall size of the page, it also caches some of the elements of the page, it also removes some advertisements if it founds it extra i.e. more than 3.
If you are reading this post in chrome browser of your android device then you can check out how the websites looks in Google Web Light at this link.
Check out the below video about the same.
Hope you have liked this simple but informative post. See you in next post. :-)
